Roba Bonica: Promoting textile repair
THE PROJECT
Roba Bonica is a project that aims to promote clothing repair through educational workshops with the goal of preventing and reducing textile waste. Workshops will be offered to schools, NGOs, and the general public, taking a practical and conscious approach. Participants will combine theoretical training on the environmental impacts of the textile industry and its alternatives with hands-on training in clothing alteration and repair techniques using their own garments.
The project is conceived as a collaborative challenge to ensure that the acquired knowledge is truly applied, to raise awareness of the project, and to foster engagement with educational centers and NGOs, thus ensuring its continuity. A final report of the results will be presented at a digital event to which all participants will be invited.
